Between sport, art and the human being.
A healthy body, a calm mind, a home full of love.
In my early years I was able to grow in two great schools of life: sport and art. Sport strengthens the body, art opens the heart and soul. Today, as a life and hypnosis coach, I accompany people on their journey so they can unfold their potential and live their unique abilities.
Fascinated by people — led to psychology.
On my path I encountered a fascinating kaleidoscope of personalities — people who accompanied and inspired me. Analysing them, understanding them and learning from them led me quite naturally to the study of psychology.
Today, as a life and hypnosis coach, I accompany people in their personal development so they can unfold their full potential and use their unique abilities.
Melissa BiedermannWhere body and mind meet.
At the University of Zurich I gained a deep understanding of the complexity of body and mind. Core topics such as development, cognition and emotion, along with research methods on human behaviour, shaped my academic path over several semesters.
I have always been especially fascinated by neuroscience and the human brain: the fine connection between body and mind and the interplay of the immune system, hormonal system and psyche.
A healthy body, a calm mind and a home full of love …
The human being is a complex system in which body, mind and soul are inseparably connected and constantly influence one another. If one element falls out of balance, it inevitably affects the others.
My focus is on holistic coaching – I accompany the person as a whole and consider every aspect on multiple levels.
Health begins in everyday life.
In my earlier work as a health advisor I accompanied people of all ages with the most diverse physical and mental challenges. I explained different symptom patterns, gave recommendations for a balanced lifestyle to relieve symptoms, and showed how daily habits positively influence well-being.
Complementing conventional medicine, I pointed to complementary treatment methods. The most common topics were:
Recognise patterns, develop solutions.
Thinking systemically
Systemic coaching looks at the interactions between different areas of life – work, family, relationships – and the environment. It highlights patterns, dynamics and roles within a system to gain a deeper understanding and open up new perspectives for action.
Acting solution-focused
My focus is on developing concrete solutions that aim to strengthen existing resources and make the best use of abilities in order to foster positive change.
Recognise potential, take the next step.
My coaching practice covers both personal and professional development. Through my experience in career and educational guidance for young people, I have learned to recognise and nurture individual potential. I have been able to accompany many people in discovering their interests and strengths and taking their next professional step – whether choosing a suitable course of study or a new career direction. Among other roles, I also work as a job coach at Sanatorium Kilchberg.
Job coach at Sanatorium Kilchberg
In my role as a job coach I accompany people of all ages in returning to the workplace, in their job search, with professional challenges and in the prevention of burnout.
The key to the subconscious.
Whether as a complement or as a standalone method – the powerful technique of hypnosis is extraordinarily valuable. Hypnosis enables deep access to the subconscious, where many of our behavioural patterns and beliefs are rooted.
Blockages can be released, limiting thoughts overcome, and positive change anchored on a deeper level. This transformative process opens up new perspectives and experiences and paves the way to a more fulfilling life.
